  • 100 0198  Barb with a Highland calf.  This was taken at the Innisfail exotic animal and bird auction.  Pretty much every spring and fall for the last decade and a half, my parents, and now my Mom, travel down to buy and sell birds.  Mom also sells her crafts there too.  The sale is every Easter and every Thanksgiving.  Almost every year the weather is ABSOLUTELY FREEZING.  The waether almost always takes a turn for the worst for that weekend.  Barb and I usually us this a a chance to visit.  Often we would get a chance to visit Kieth and Carla who also live there.  (Innisfail, Alberta, Canada)

  • IMG 0838  At the same airshow the  US Air Force Thunderbirds also flew.  As part of the talking points for the show was how the pilots were turning and banking in a difficult five plane formation.  You may notice here that there are eight planes flying together.   • IMG 0741  This is one of the most beautiful aircraft I have ever seen.  It is a 1934 DeHavilland DH.84 Dragon mk2.  This particular one was the first airliner in Queensland used from 1936 to 1952.  (Watts Bridge, Quuensland, Australia) On 1 Oct 2012 this plane crashed killing all six people on board.  The pilot had previously survived a crash in the same type of plane when he was 10, but killed his father and brother.
